Alter Ego Video Game Review

Alter Ego is a dark game with a dramatic storyline. The name itself explains the gameplay as you take the roles of two very different people. For those who enjoy action packed adventures, like me, this is the game for you.

You get to alternate between a young thief and an English detective. During a numerous amount of strange murders in the area, the two are ultimately forced together to find out what happened.

What was most memorable about the gameplay would be the high resolution graphics and the the voices of the two characters. The voices were strong and with the English accent, it surely added to the overall gaming experience. Also if your not a big fan of accents, you will also have access to sub titles.

The gameplay for the game is basic and pretty simple for beginners. Using the keyboard and mouse, you search for objects that "glow" to help solve your mystery. When an object does "glow" you can select it. In some rooms there will be plenty of treasures for you to find but in others there may only be a couple. Also, the game does have little puzzles that you will have to complete. Also since this game does have a story-line, replayability will probably be hard. I know myself personally only like to play these type of games a couple of times before i get bored. It's one of those games that you would play for a couple hours and not go back to it.

This was definately a fun game... especially for a mystery style type of genre. I enjoyed the overall experience of playing it and I for one didn't care much for the ending. However It's a cute game that i would definately recommend to my readers. Especially those who have an interest in these sorts of game.

How to get FREE WiFi

I'm sure you've been to a lot of place with free Wi-Fi without knowing it. Getting Free Wi-Fi is pretty easy, if i say myself. Here are the top places where you can get free Wi-fi.

Public Schools/Libraries

Most local libraries will have free wi-fi. Sometimes they ask you for your (library) card number but most of the times they don't. However remember that it's the library.. they restrict a lot of umm "inappropriate" sites. If you know what i mean..

Hotels

Most hotels offer free wi-fi for their guests. So if you book a room say with your family at a location that offers wi-fi for free then you won't have to pay. Even if your not a guests, they may have free wi-fi connections in public areas, say in the lobby. If there is a password, you can ask the front desk.

Resturants/Food places

Most places have a password unfortunately... but as long as your a customer you will get free access to Wi-Fi. I'm sure you can spare a burger or two.

Of course these are not the limited locations. You can get a full list right here: http://www.wififreespot.com/companies.html

PS3 V.S. Xbox 360

There has always been a constate debate over which is better.

PS3?Xbox 360?

Maybe you own both and you can't decide which one you like
better?
or
Maybe you are considering which one to buy?

Either way, It really depends on your personal preference. Both have a lot to give. Here is a list of pros and cons for both.

Xbox 360

PROS :

  • xbox live is more advanced
  • more online players
  • cheaper prices ,
  • more games
  • better textures
  • controller better
  • netflix
  • easier to do codes

CONS :

  • always has problems (ring of death)
  • heats up
    louder
    crappy customer support

PS3

PROS :

  • quieter

  • games are amazing
  • can play PS2 games too
  • better "value"
  • free online
  • low failure rate
  • customer support is reasonable
  • blue ray player
    blue tooth connection

CONS :

  • less games
  • no output headphone jack
  • harder to program for
  • crazy mad expensive

I'm not going to pick sides although i do favor the PS3 better since it has the whole entertainment thing going on. However Xbox does have better ( or more ) games which could be the fact that it was made first and games are easier for people to make. However Xbox always has problems ( i find) and the actual fees make up for the lower price. That's just my opinion.

Which one do you find better?

Introduction

I have to admit that I am ADDICTED to video games. Sometimes i feel like such a nerd but that's alrite. Thats why I made this blog. I've been looking at other blogs and It seems fun writing about your hobbies. Gaming just happens to be one of my favorite things to do!

I decided to make this blog because I like writing and I like gaming. Simple enough? I can write whatever I want and whenever I want. I'm quite serious when It comes to gaming. I don't want to see people with gaming blogs writing about how It shortens attention span or makes you stupider... Are you effin serious? Believe me, there will be none of that in my blog.
